I’ve been a magician for over 40 years. I grew up in a small farming community in Minnesota and was always interested in magic. As a child, I checked out books at the library; bought a small magic kit that had gimmicks and trick cards, and I performed for my relatives on MY birthday.

When I was 18 I had a life changing experience. I met my best friend, a real magician, who taught me sleight-of-hand. This encounter led me to a lifelong pursuit of close-up magic, and gambling sleight-of-hand.

Close-up magic is an intimate type of magic using everyday objects such as cards and coins. The audience is literally close enough to touch the magician and in fact a lot of the magic happens right in their hands. As you can imagine when you experience an amazing event, the impact is enormous and memorable.

Gambling sleight-of-hand skills are those nefarious techniques a card hustler uses to fleece his victims. I demonstrate skills like false dealing, stacking the deck, and controlling cards to get the money. When these abilities are combined with various hustles and cons, you experience and extraordinary happening that most people only read about or see on TV.

I am a multiple award-winning magician. I have been fortunate enough to perform magic throughout the United States and Europe, with a highlight of performing at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA.
